Innisfree Green Ginseng Scalp Tonic Review

In my journey to find the prefect hair tonic, I recently came across this product from Innisfree "Green Ginseng Scalp Tonic". I have to tell you, I have no idea what they mean by green ginseng. Does ginseng really have different color that I don't know of๐Ÿ˜ฏ. I was sold on the fact that it was ginseng so I just have to try it myself

On the Green Ginseng Scalp Tonic it says "This scalp fluid, composed of anti-inflammatory and circulation function of Jeju dolwoe ingredients which are fully enriched with saponin, helps to create a healty scalp. the complex herbal extracts and panthenol ingredients alleviate hair loss by providing nutrients and moisture and instantly present a feeling of refreshment to your scalp"

Lets see.....I tried to google it but no clue as to what dolwoe actually is. Maybe it's their name for the ginseng. Saponin is a group of chemicals that comes from plants and have antioxidant properties and Panthenol is there to help the nutrients penetrates deep down into the scalp.

How to use : Shake well and spray an adequate amount directly onto cleansed scalp. Use finger tips to massage and pat for better absorption.

Results: My scalp is sentiive and prone to itchiness. I don't think the inflammatory that was promised work well enough for me since it's still quite itchy especially a day after washing my hair. I do like the minty feeling on my scalp after I spray and massage this tonic but it doesn't last long enough in my opinion.

The smell is very ginsengy (is that even a word) ๐Ÿ˜’ and I'm ok with that since I like ginseng on my hair products but if you don't like the smell of ginseng, well you're out of luck since it's Green Ginseng tonic you know ๐Ÿ˜. The smell will disappear in the morning though if you washed your hair the night before.

As for hair loss, I'm not noticing a great difference from usual since I'm already using hair loss prevention shampoo (Brand: Ryeo brown) so I probably will not repurchase this product again. That doesn't mean that you should not try this product since it might be different for you. Good luck and thank you for reading this review

Nail Art 1 - Military/Party

This nail art was a recreation from @nailsbymimi on instagram that was published in @nailitmag. It's a simple nail art using just a striper and dotting tool but so elegant and can be changed to suit your party dress for example.

How to do:
- Use your base coat (always do this to protect your natural nail)
- Apply 2 coats of white polish on all fingers
- Use striper or nail art brush to draw the black outline (except the ring finger)
- Use dotting tool to put some black shape (just drag the dotting tool to create the shape. it's pretty much free style so do whatever you like)
- Fill up the rest of the space with blue shape just like the black one (put more blue than black so your design stand out more)

Done! ๐Ÿ˜Š I'll try to put the pictures for every step next time. Hope you like it.

Etude House Milky You Cleansing Foam Review

The first product I want to review is the Etude House Milky You Cleansing Foam. I was searching for a new cleansing product since the organic cocoa oatmeal face spa that I'm using gives me great exfoliation but not enough cleansing (I can still find BB cream residue so I have to use toner afterwards).

I have to tell you that I'm crazzzzzyyy about Korean makeup and skincare products since I found them about a year ago, especially products from Etude House (Helllloooo....cute packaging, effective and affordable. what's not to like ;) ). So after I read some reviews about this product, and found out that Etude Milky You Cleansing Foam is a one step cleansing (yes, I'm lazy), I decided to try it out. My skin is Dry to Normal and a bit sensitive

How to use it:   Just wet your face with water, put a dollop of the product into your palm (and I mean it, a small dollop is enough). Lather it on your palms for a bit, then massage into your face for about 1 min. taadaaa...squeaky clean face.

I've read around that waterproof makeup like mascara and eyeliner will not be quite clean so you should consider cleaning your makeup first before using this. Since I usually did that and only need this to clean my BB cream, it's perfect. And since it's from milk, I can even feel good about that. lol

Result:    My skin really feel smooth and clean after I used this (literally squeaky) and I'm using such a small amount each time that this Milky You Cleansing Foam is going to last a loooong time. The smell is pretty mild too. I guess it's the milk part.

Conclusion:  Etude  Milky You Cleansing Foam is a really great product for those of us who are too lazy to do 3 or 4 step when cleansing our face. It works really well and didn't dry out the skin. The price is acceptable since it's quite a large amount. At the time I bought it, it was Rp 95.000 or about US$ 8.

Thank you for reading this review. I hope it helps you decide if you want to try this product or not. (^_^)

About this blog

It was my rule to always look for reviews on all the items that I was planning to buy. Especially if it was skin care products and make up. Since I'm a sucker for new stuffs and cute packaging, I thought I should start doing my own reviews to help other people decide if the product is worth buying (and I also need to remind myself why I shouldn't buy that product again ๐Ÿ˜…). Hopefully I'll be able to continue this blog as long as possible ๐Ÿ˜Š

God Bless ๐Ÿ˜„
